Blood-red Kydex is a durable thermoplastic material developed for knife makers, bushcraft enthusiasts, and craftspeople who want to create their own sheaths and custom solutions. The dark red color provides a more exclusive and powerful look than standard red Kydex, and is particularly well-suited for hunting knives, bushcraft knives, and handmade premium projects.
The material has one smooth side and one matte side, allowing you to choose the look that best suits your project. With a size of 300 x 600 mm, you have enough material for several sheaths or larger custom projects.
Kydex is known for its high durability, low weight, and moisture resistance. When heated to approximately 150–200 °C, the material becomes pliable and can be molded around knives and tools to create a precise fit. Once the material cools, it retains its shape and provides excellent retention without the need for complicated fastening solutions.
The material can be heated and reshaped many times without losing its properties. It can be drilled, cut, sanded, glued, sewn, welded, and assembled with eyelets and fastening systems to create professional results.
