Description:
This knife blade from Brisa has been developed as a large and powerful utility blade, designed for demanding tasks in the outdoors. With a blade length of a full 240 mm, it provides significant reach and power, while still being suitable for more controlled tasks.
The blade is made of 80CrV2 carbon steel, known for its high wear resistance and good toughness. This makes it particularly well-suited for hard use, such as wood splitting, rough shaping, and work around the campsite.
The design is based on an enlarged "Nessmuk"-inspired profile, where the wide and powerful front provides extra impact force for chopping. At the same time, the rear part of the edge offers better control for finer tasks such as whittling and precise cutting.
The construction is full tang, which provides maximum strength and stability in the finished product. The blade comes pre-sharpened with a flat grind and a very small secondary edge, which provides excellent cutting properties combined with robustness.
The surface has a dark finish that provides a rugged and functional look, while also helping to protect the steel during use.
This is a blank without a handle, giving you complete freedom to build a large and powerful knife according to your own style. You can choose materials and design yourself, and create a tool adapted to your needs.
