Use and care
- Avoid touching the glossy interior. Scratches and marks can transfer to the finished casting.
- Remove any loose particles carefully with tape.
- Let the casting material cure completely before demolding. Uncured resin can damage the mold.
- Be very careful with flames or heat guns when removing bubbles, as this can weaken the mold. Use CCR epoxy to avoid the need for flames and heat guns.
- Mold release is not required, but the manufacturer recommends it to extend the life of the mold.
- Be aware that mold release can make the glossy surface more matte.
