Description:
Blue stabilized flame poplar is an exclusive and visually exciting handle blank, known for its characteristic wavy structure and vibrant depth. The natural fibers in the wood form soft, flowing patterns that provide a dynamic and elegant expression.
Many blanks also feature what is known as chatoyance, or "cat's-eye shimmer" – an optical effect that gives the wood a three-dimensional glow when light hits the surface. This adds extra life and makes each handle unique.
The blue color adds a modern and fresh touch, while simultaneously highlighting the natural structure of the wood. The result is a handle blank that stands out with both color and depth.
The wood is stabilized with resin through a vacuum process, where it becomes completely impregnated and cured. This creates a material that is waterproof, highly durable, and dimensionally stable.
