Orange stabilized flame poplar is an exclusive handle blank that combines a distinctive wavy wood grain with a warm and eye-catching hue. Flame poplar is known for its characteristic structure, where the fibers form soft waves that provide a lively and dynamic appearance.
In some blanks, so-called chatoyance occurs – an optical effect that gives the wood a deep, almost three-dimensional glow, often referred to as "cat's eye shimmer." This gives the handle extra life and makes the material especially visually attractive.
The orange color highlights the structure in a powerful way, adding warmth and energy to the design. The result is a modern and characterful handle that stands out clearly.
The wood is stabilized with resin through a vacuum process, where it becomes completely impregnated and hardened. This creates a material that is waterproof, highly durable, and dimensionally stable.
The hardened structure means the blank does not require oil or other surface treatments, and it resists cracking, deformation, and moisture over time. At the same time, the dense surface provides a comfortable and solid feel in the hand.
