Kydex Suede FDE Green-Brown is developed for knifemakers and craftsmen who want an exclusive finish without compromising on functionality. The material combines the well-known strength and formability of Kydex with a bonded suede surface that provides both a premium look and better protection for the knife.
The suede side can be used as the exterior for an exclusive look or as the interior to protect the knife blade from scratches during use and transport. This makes the material especially popular for handmade bushcraft knives, hunting knives, and exclusive EDC knives.
FDE (Flat Dark Earth) Green-Brown is one of the most popular colors for bushcraft, hunting, and tactical equipment. The earthy green-brown tone blends naturally into forests and terrain, while giving the sheath a professional and robust look.
The material can be heated to approx. 150–200 °C, formed around the knife, and reheated if you wish to adjust the fit. It withstands moisture, cold, heat, and hard use, and can be cut, drilled, sanded, polished, and fitted with eyelets and hardware in the same way as standard Kydex. One sheet is often enough for several knife sheaths, depending on size and design.
