Multicam Desert Kydex is a high-quality thermoplastic material developed for knifemakers, hunters, and bushcraft enthusiasts who want to build their own sheaths with a professional and nature-inspired look. The material features a Multicam Desert pattern on one side and a solid color on the other, providing great flexibility in design.
Kydex is known for its high durability, low weight, and resistance to moisture, temperature changes, and rugged use. This makes the material ideal for producing knife sheaths, holsters, tool holders, and other custom projects intended to withstand demanding conditions.
When heated to approximately 150–200 °C, the sheet becomes flexible and can be pressed around a knife or equipment to achieve a precise fit. If you are not satisfied with your first attempt, the material can be reheated and reshaped multiple times without losing its properties.
