Multicam Kydex is a durable thermoplastic material developed for knifemakers, hunters, and bushcraft enthusiasts who want to create their own professional-looking sheaths. The material features the original Multicam pattern on one side and a solid color on the other, providing great flexibility in design and execution.
Kydex is known for its high durability, low weight, and resistance to moisture, impact, and temperature fluctuations. This has made the material one of the most popular choices for knife sheaths, holsters, tool holders, and custom storage solutions.
When heated to approximately 150–200 °C, the sheet becomes flexible and can be pressed around a knife or equipment to achieve a tight and secure fit. If the result is not perfect on the first attempt, the material can be reheated and reshaped multiple times without losing its properties.
The original Multicam pattern is designed to function in many different environments and is among the world's most well-known camouflage patterns.
