The sheet has both a smooth and a matte side, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your project. With a size of 300 x 600 mm, you have enough material for several knife sheaths or larger custom projects. The red color provides a distinct and characteristic look that stands out from more traditional Kydex colors. It is also somewhat lighter than the darker Blood Red variant.
Kydex can be heated to approximately 150–200 °C and molded around the knife or the form you are working with. After cooling, the material retains its shape and provides a strong, precise, and professional sheath. The edges can be sanded and polished for a high-quality finished result.
The material handles moisture, impacts, scratches, and heavy use very well. It can be heated and reshaped an almost unlimited number of times without losing its properties, making it ideal for both professional and hobbyist projects.
