Use and maintenance
- Avoid touching the glossy interior. Scratches and marks can be transferred to the finished casting.
- Carefully remove any loose particles with tape.
- Allow the casting material to cure completely before demolding. Uncured resin can damage the mold.
- Be very careful with flames or a heat gun when removing bubbles, as this can weaken the mold. Use CCR epoxy to avoid the need for flames and heat guns.
- Mold release agent is not required, but the manufacturer recommends it to extend the life of the mold.
- Be aware that mold release agent may make the glossy surface more matte.
Always follow the safety instructions from the data sheet of the casting material you are using.
